My lil precious is ill!!!

He is having colic and reflux!

The word 'reflux' makes my hair stands!

Brought him to his PD at TMC this morning cause we found something 'not wrong'on him and went to another PD near my house 2 days ago and that PD was so uncertain on everything lo! Said Ashton MIGHT have hernia and we wanna confirm with him, he said "might only la... but i don't think he has it, cause doesn't look like"

If you hear this, you won't worry meh? If is Hernia needs a operation immediately leh!!!

So after hubby told in-laws about this uncertain PD, in-laws suggested we should just bring Ashton back to TMC to see his PD DR Ong...

So baby called them yesterday and booked an appointment. We wanna rush down immediately but the clinic is always full house -.-"

Dr Ong checked on Ashton and said he DON'T HAVE Hernia... And everything will be back to normal in ard 6mths time and told us not to worry..

We told him that Ashton has been crying in the evening for continously 30min to an hour... Non-stop even we carry him, soothe him, give him milk... He then diagnosed Ashton having Colic!

Ashton also will push away the milk bottle during feeding and wail for awhile then continue to drink, after drinking a lil, push the milk bottle away again and repeat the process... Vomit milk, ard 10-20ml each time, 2-3 times per day... Dr Ong then diagnosed him having slight reflux!!!

I can't imagine my boy is suffering from both colic and reflux! Colic is bad enough alrdy and reflux is even more torturing! it will cause the acid to run up to his throat! Imagine how suffering it is! We adults feel xin ku if the acid just run up to our throat, but we can express ourselves while babies can't!

He was given medication to soothe his colic and reflux... As well as to mix Friso Comfort milk powder to his current milk powder to soothe the reflux... The nurses scare we dunno which to buy and she gave us Friso Comfort sample. We thought the sample is in packet but is those 400g tin size sold outside... And i was told not to mix the medi into the milk for Ashton, gonna feed him 30mins before milk time...

Forgot to mention, the lil fatty is now 5kilo!!! The 1st thing Dr Ong said when we walked into the room is "WOW ur baby 5 kilo?! normally baby gain ard 1 kilo per month but urs grow more than 2 kilo in just a month!" But he said is okay as long as he drinks well even we told him Ashton will wail for milk 1.5hours after 120ml feeding...

Imagine, if we didn't bring Ashton back to Dr Ong, we will never know he's colic and reflux! We might ust be thinking that he wail cause he's fussy and my lovely mum might just think that there's some 'dirty' things pestering him! -.-

After seeing Dr Ong, we went back to hougang, had chk rice and deposit money into Ashton CDA... Mum saw someone she knows and that auntie asked " ur grandson 2mth ++??" I nearly faint la!!! And one thing i feel very -.- is: lotsa people keep ask if Ashton is a boy or girl!!! Even I dress him very very very BOYISH still got people ask leh!!!! WAOPIANG!!!
