I did something very power today!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time I feel confident being a mother!!!!!!!!!!! Cause baby and me brought Ashton out for more than 3 hours!!!

Ashton's right eye is having lotsa yellowish discharge since days ago. The amount and frequency of discharge increase day by day...

Though it's pretty common for newborn to have such discharge but we're still worried as it's ALOT!!!

So early in the morning, I asked baby if we should bring him to a paediatrician (PD) asap?? He then called MIL and tell her he'll be late for work cause we need to bring Ashton to a PD..

Packed up, and off we go! Yes, only, me and baby with Ashton okay! We brought a 2 week old newborn out ALL by our own!!! awesome right??!! And hello, my husband is driving a VAN not a CAR hor!!! Imagine, I have to get up the van first then baby pass me Ashton and help me put on my seat belt!!!

Didn't go to Ashton's PD at TMC cause we know the queue is confirm very very long and it's open till 12pm only and we don't want to have a waste trip.

So we went to Rivervale Plaza, there's a PD clinic there too... When we reached, it's CLOSED!!! Nvm, we went to Hougang mall's branch... When we reached, was happy to see that it's open...

But when we go in, the clinic assistant told us that the PD is on leave!!!!!!!!! The PD was on leave for more than 3 month alrdy!!! WAOPIANG!!!

And you know, Healthway clinic is just beside, the clinic assistant suggested we go to the GP (those normal family doc) at healthway as they have the same medication also...

As both baby and me were seeing the doc at Hougang mall Healthway too and find him very detail and good so we don't mind he isn't a PD so just go to his clinic.

Waited for more than half an hour... We went Mac for breakfast while waiting and Cotton On to get myself a skirt and shorts.. HENG! am still wearing M size *grin*

Okay, abit off topic liao... now back to the main topic...

Finally after an hour of waiting, we get to see the GP.. He was so SHOCKED to see us carrying a newborn in with us you know... When we told him that Ashton is having yellowish eye discharge, He don't even know how to touch him... haha... cannot blame la, He is not a PD afterall...

He then told us to go to a PD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAOPIANG!!! We waited for so long and he told us to go to a PD cause PD is more experience with babies!!

Ya we know PD are more experience with babies that's why we keep driving around just to find a PD!!! But really very suay lo, Singapore's PD machiam all go holiday liao!

He then got his clinic assistant to call up a Bishan's PD for us and they are open! FINALLY!!!!!!!

Got a referal letter from him and he charged us $21.40 -.-" less than 3 mins in the consultation room leh! Baby said the letter very ex lo!!!

Dad called us and asked how come we take so long... I told him everything and kanna nagged by him... Keep nagged why we don't bring Ashton back to Thomson Medical straight in the first place to find his PD... Explained to him that they only open half day on wed and they're always full of patients, even with appointment also gonna wait for 1 hour... He then nagged again saying that AMK also have another branch! WAOPIANG!!!!!! Gonna repeat what I said again lo... *faint*

ZOOM~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ off we go to Bishan and finally we get to find a PD!!!

The PD, Doc Wong said it's common for newborn to have such discharge but Ashton's right eye is slightly pinkish so she prescribed him eye solution and eye drop... Also took his eye discharge to go for some tests to see if it's infected..

Told her that Ashton's pi sai very big, we can't digged out (actu we lazy la), and she "empty" his pisai also.. hehe...

Our Ashton was so hot temper when Doc Wong was trying to check his eyes... He slapped her lo! Doc Wong said "why you so fierce?" HAHA!!!

After seeing a PD, we finally realise the diffe... Firstly, the price!! $127.45 zoom~~~~~~~ but most imptly, their ways of dealing babies very pro lo....
